Help Walids Family in Gaza

My name is Walid. I’m from Gaza, and like so many others, my life was turned upside down by this war.

Before everything was destroyed, I lived a simple and beautiful life with my wife. We were full of hope, looking forward to the arrival of our first child—my wife is now in her eighth month of pregnancy. But our joy was shattered. Our home was bombed. Everything we had was lost in an instant.

Now, under constant threat and siege, we are displaced. We were living in a tent for a while, but with the recent escalation in violence, I had no choice but to move my wife into my uncle’s house, which is currently safer. Still, the conditions are very hard. We have no stable income, no access to healthy food or proper care, and no way to prepare for the safe arrival of our baby.

Before the war, I worked as a house painter—earning enough to build a life and support my small family. Now, there is no work. No income. And my wife, heavily pregnant, needs nutrition and care to stay healthy and bring our child safely into this world.

We’ve been married since 2021 and dreamed of building a peaceful future together. But now, even our most basic needs—shelter, food, medicine—feel out of reach.

This campaign is to help us survive this time of crisis and to prepare for the birth of our baby. We are asking for support to cover:

Healthy food and supplements for my wife Medical care before and after birth Baby supplies (nappies, clothing, etc.) Basic living expenses like clean water and fuel Rent or assistance toward safe shelter I dream of the day when peace returns and I can go back to work, when life is no longer a daily struggle for survival. Until then, your support—no matter how small—means everything.

Please help us bring our child into a world with dignity and hope.

With love and gratitude, Walid

The area that Walid and Ola are in recieved new displacement orders. The occupation says they will bomb it heavily. But nobody can leave without money to pay for transportation and shelter. Walids newborn baby can’t live on the streets, she needs shelter. So this family urgently needs your help
